Sweet Harmonies: Church Music Staff Relations

How can church musicians collaborate effectively with pastors and staff? What are the best practices for music directors managing multiple staff musicians? How can directors support volunteer musicians from the congregation? Join Eric Dundore, UCCMA President and Minister of Music at St. Paul's UCC in PA, and Amanda Udis-Kessler, UCCMA Director of Member Education and pastor/musician at Vista Grande Community Church in CO, for a discussion on church music staff relations across various church sizes.

Eric Dundore is in his 41st year as the minister of music at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He also directs the Men’s Chorus at Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg. He is retired from teaching Vocal/Choral Music at Mechanicsburg Area High School after a 35-year career. Eric enjoys being a stage performer, music director and stage director at Theater Harrisburg.

Join us in person for workshops, worship services, concerts and networking with your colleagues. We will be hosted by the First Community Church of Columbus, Ohio, a Disciples of Christ and United Church of Christ congregation. From Wednesday evening through the Saturday morning closing worship service, we provide a plethora of activities that will enhance your music skills and give you resources and ideas for new ways of expressing God's Spirit in these challenging times.

Registration and payment Information:

Pricing includes all events plus continental breakfast, lunch and dinner. For cancellations, refunds are available until June 24, 2026 minus a $25 processing fee.

To receive members' rates, UCCMA members must log in with the email address we have on file and your password. DOC/ADM members should register using the registration code supplied to you. If you do not have the code, contact Brad Burnham.
