UCCMA Endowment Campaign We welcome your financial support to secure the future of our organization and to help reach more musicians and artists in the United Church of Christ. A campaign to fund a new endowment is underway. Our dream is to be financially independent so that we can offer free memberships to all. While our membership dues cover our budget and operating expenses, your additional gifts of support allow the mission of UCCMA to reach out in significant ways. Royalties For Negro Spirituals We are accepting donations for the Royalties for Spirituals Initiative. Voluntary "fees" for the use of our webinar will be donated to African American music and arts organizations. Also, churches who collect royalties but don’t know of an organization to support can donate their royalties to our fund. We will distribute your payments to an appropriate recipient. In the past we have paid royalties to the Hamilton-Garrett Center for Music and the Arts in Roxbury, MA; the Chicago Music Association, which was formed in 1919 as the founding branch of the National Association of Negro Musicians, Inc. (NANM); and the Artists Collective in Hartford, CT. John Stansell Scholarship Fund Named in honor of a former president of UCCMA, the John Stansell Scholarship Fund provides help to first-time attendees of our national conferences who might not otherwise be able to attend due to the cost. John Stansell was an ardent promoter of this organization. | If you wish to donate by check, mail your gift to: UCC Musicians Association Be sure to let us know what your gift is for.
